1913 Seiko Laurel – First Production Batch (Serial 1C), case no.30437.
This is Seiko’s very first wristwatch, the iconic Laurel from 1913 — a true milestone in Japanese watchmaking history. The same model is on display at the Seiko Museum in Japan.
What makes this piece especially rare is its early serial number (1C), indicating it came from the first production batch — extremely hard to find today.
It features a ceramic enamel dial and a sterling silver (.900) case, measuring approx. 31mm without the crown. The manual-wind movement runs well and have oiled and regulated before shipping, though high precision should not be expected due to age.
The leather strap is old and not original but was custom-made to fit the distinctive wire lugs of this model.
A true collector’s piece and a rare opportunity to own a part of Seiko’s legacy.
Price is 2.900 Usd with included shipping fee.
